Editor for Parameter Files option
Choose Utilities
Editor for Parameter Files to view a complete list of startup parameters, fill in the desired values, and write out a
.pffile (rather than typing in the parameter file with an ordinary text editor). When you choose this option, the Data Dictionary prompts you for the name of the.pffile to edit or create. After you specify the filename, the Edit Parameter File (param.pf) dialog box shown in Figure 11–1 appears.Figure 11–1: Edit Parameter File dialog box

Specify the parameters you want, then press GO. The Data Dictionary displays a dialog box similar to the one shown in Figure 11–2. Enter any comments, then choose OK.
